STAFFORD ARTS FESTIVAL

Ronda is a self-taught Artist and Designer currently living in Central PA. Her earliest compelling memory of art is from the age of 4, when she was told not to touch the paint-by-numbers piece that her mother was painting while she had to step away. Ronda couldn’t resist putting the brush in her chubby 4-year-old little hand and “painting” for the first time! While her mother wasn’t too happy with what happened to her painting, it started Ronda on her life-long love affair with anything related to art.

 

She has explored many mediums including encaustics, cold wax oil painting, Alcohol inks, acrylics, and watercolor.  But collage and texture added with any of those mediums is her favorite! She loves the Intuitive side of art, and the sketching is done mostly in her mind before she starts creating.  She is formally trained in Floral design and professionally spent many years creating art through floral design. When Ronda is not creating art, she loves to travel with her husband, decorate her home and garden in the landscape around her home.
