I work with encaustic wax. Sometimes I just use the wax in various colors. Sometimes I use photographs as the base. Sometimes I use old RD maps as the base. Sometimes I use other pieces of paper to make repetitive patterns as the base. I hope to learn a couple other techniques between now and the show to have more variety.
